Joanne Levin Triangle Park
In working with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation board and the local community, it was realized that the love for the current – but crumbling – space was strong. Not wanting to remove that connection, a design that embraced the history of the Triangle Park, while moving it forward was developed. The resulting structure blends seamlessly into the local environment, keeping memories of the beloved space present.
Drawing inspiration from the beloved, previous structure, this design embraces a concept of rolling hills and graduated challenge. The aesthetic connects to play from a different generation, bring forth memories for everyone.
